- Movie Night: September 7, at the Penthouse (weather permitting; otherwise, we’ll convene in the Auditorium). Movie kicks off at 8 PM.
- Ice Cream Bingo: September 21,join us in the auditorium for an exciting game of bingo starts at 7 PM.
- Tech Discussions: August 24, 1:15 PM, at the Auditorium.
- Building Wide end of Summer Barbecue: October 6 at 6 PM.

As we usher in a new month, we can’t help but extend a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to everyone who has engaged with us in recent events. Your active participation and invaluable feedback have made a meaningful difference, helping to shape the services and offerings of the Associated Blind Foundation. We’re truly grateful for your contributions. For those who are interested, there’s still an opportunity to be part of our Pilot Cleaning Program; simply contact our office to secure your spot on the list.
We’re also thrilled to share some wonderful news regarding assistive aids. The foundation has invested in a range of these aids that are available either for borrowing or for keeps. To get a detailed list of what’s available, you’re warmly invited to call us or make a trip to our office. It’s an excellent chance to explore tools that can make daily life easier and more enjoyable.
Lastly, mark your calendars for an event that promises to be both fun and enriching—the ABF End of Summer Barbecue, scheduled for October 6th. Open to all residents, this event is your ticket to a day filled with soul-soothing music, delightful drinks, and sumptuous barbecue. It’s going to be a wonderful occasion, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
